coolers on back order 03 Pilot?
I ordered the trailer tow dealer install kit for my 03 Pilot last week - I
was told today some parts came in, but the coolers are on back order - is
this normal ? This is frustrating since I had no clue to add a trailer
hitch and related parts cost nearly $1200 on the Pilot when my f150 cost me
a couple hundred. I think Honda should have added the coolers at the
factory or at least keep an adequate supply available.

$1200 just for parts, or does that include installation? I looked on
the College Hills Honda site and the parts are $691 for an '03 Pilot.
If you're handy with a wrench you could install it yourself.
If you go to http://hondapilot.org and check out the Accessories forum,
you'll find an entry for the web sites of many places that sell Pilot
accessories. You'll probably find a better price than the one above,
I just picked one site at random. There are entries in the forum that
show how to install accessories, and I believe the towing kit is one
of them.

Re: coolers on back order 03 Pilot?
I negotiated the installed price to be appx $1080.
(parts were around $690 I think.)
