94 civic - wouldn't start til turned steering wheel

94 civic - wouldn't start til turned steering wheel
ran fine on the way to work.
at lunch time, crank, but didn't even come close to catching.
not flooded
when I turned the steering wheel, then it started
any suggestions what to look for?
176,000 us miles, 5 speed.

Car warmed up inside while sitting. Smacking the dash with the key in
position II would have worked the same too. Replace or resolder the Main
relay.

The other suggestion made (main relay) is perfectly valid but it could
also be the ignition switch.
Since it started when you turned the wheel, perhaps you jiggled
something that is making intermittent contact. I'd make sure that all
connections to it are tight.

The other suggestion made (main relay) is perfectly valid but it could
also be the ignition switch.
Since it started when you turned the wheel, perhaps you jiggled
something that is making intermittent contact. I'd make sure that all
connections to it are tight.
Is it repeatable?
