240 whp Full-Race Civic chase down of 700 whp Ford GT 40

"The owner was claiming over 700 whp and bragging about how no one has been able to catch him or keep up with him. I got tired of him bragging and decided to shut him up.

He claimed he was going 160 to 180 in the straights. Judging by the video, I would say he is hitting 160. That car was just stupid fast in a straight line. And he had awesome fire balls."

here is the video its pretty damn sweet

Ford GT, not a Ford GT40. A GT40 would not be outside, let alone doing putting laps down at a track.

the hand pointing directly ahead meant "watch this straight, there will be fireballs."

the hand pointing up with the palm facing upwards meant "is that all you got man?"

the hand motion at the end of the video is how he is going to whack off when he gets home.

It's a 5th Gen (92-95) and since it's in the track most likely it's a hatchback models since those are the most popular trims to race with.

I miss my 5th gen hatch. I had a built GSR motor in that thing and was as fast as my moddde turboed MR2.

Great video, and nice driving skills on the Civic owners' part! I love how fast he catches up to the GT after the straight. Videos like this always make me want to buy an old EF/EG and build it up. What a fun project car that would be!

This one was more like, "Dude, how about you just let me pass already?" (which he finally does on the third lap).
