As some of you might already know Riccardo Patrese is a retired F1 driver. he competed with Mansell, Prost, Senna, ....
During celebration of Rubens Baricchello's record breaking F1 starts in which he broke Patrese's record, Riccardo was given an opportunity to test last years Honda F1 car. He did really good for somebody that raced few decades ago!
Anyway, during the weekend he also test drove European spec Civic Type R and gave his wife a ride of her life! You do not need to know Italian to understand her. First she told him to chill out because getting an opportunity to test drive an F1 car does not mean that he is in prime form! Lunatic, crazy and other more colorful adjectives abound!

I was cracking up! Good find.

 

My mother was far worst! She was so scared of my Mulholland Drive midnight flights that she refused to even go to an AutoX event with me.
I finally made her go and ride in the car with me. She was so scared she was speechless. There was no blood in her face or hands, she was pale white! When she realized it was safe place to push the limits, she relaxed and even started yelling at me to floor it during the next run. After that she financed my racing tires and never questioned my driving even in an SUV in snow on hwy 50 and 80 going to Tahoe - she was so confident she slept! Same with my father!
I wish I had an in-car-camera back then. You guys would be in for a treat!
