My right rear seat just started squeaking recently where it latches onto the metal loop. It happens everytime I go over a bump. It's worse if I go over a bump slowly like a speed bump. I can repeat the effect if I try to move the seat while latched. It's almost as if it squeaks as the body is being torqued....which I hope isn't the case. Anyone else have this prob or know how to fix it?

 

Yup, mine does that exact same thing, from the exact same place! Pretty much since new too. I figure I could wrap something around the loop to keep it from doing that but at this point...meh... so many other issues and squeaks it's the least of my concern. Honestly though, since I drive with them down most of the time it's not too much an issue.

However I would imagine that either something wrapped around the metal or pressed against it might stop the sounds. It is annoying though.

anyone got the dreaded fron seat squeaks? I have two of those that are
absolutely maddening!!!!!! (among others...) ugh!
