It's the UGLY thread!

Regarding the Aveo. Someone had posted a link to the review of the Honda Fit on the Lexus boards. And there is a link in that thread to the Chevy Aveo review, check out the leather interior here:

I cannot STAND that style of grille on the Aveo. Gaping maw. Yuck. The body style reminds me of what Honda did way back in the 70's.
But that leather interior! It looks very posh. It can't be prohibitively expensive to have black plastic AND beige plastic. Or black and gray. Or black and deep blue.
Secondly, there are four inserts of wood (or brown stuff, whatever it is, LOL). How hard would it be for Honda to have inserts available for each door, and on each side of the dash? Maybe even making the cars come without inserts, so you have to buy them at the parts department.
So that you can have wood, or matching leather inserts, or matching painted metal to your exterior color. And whatever this carbon fiber stuff is, you could have that too.
What is the cost on the Aveo for the leather seat upgrade? $375.00.
Tell me this doesn't look better:

look at the overhead shot of the beige leather. And the side shot of the black and gray leather interior. Maybe it doesn't look better to a lot of people. I personally would have preferred beige/tan leather with my Taffeta White.
I would have had to order the base with leather, as it probably wouldn't have come with it.
But if you had the choice of the car you have, to have that gray/black combo leather interior, would you have ponied up the extra $375.00? It doesn't matter if it's a GD or a GE, or what style of seats, I'm just asking about leather on the seats you have in the same style.

I'll play:
This SLR Mclaren is UGLY!
Then these stupid fat cars!
Then Acura became retarded when designing their new line:
A Two-Faced Wooden Car:
What is Nissan USA thinking? Most of their cars are pretty ugly now. I've just learned to accept some of them.
The list goes one... I'll be back when I can think of more, lol.

Myself and the moderation team believe that the rampant bashing of both GEs from the GDs and GDs from the GEs has gone on long enough.
From this point forward, please keep you opinion to yourself as to which you think is best and which one blows.
We are a forum for the Honda Fit. Period. And we are not going to play favorites toward any particular model of this car. Despite any redesigns, it is still a Honda Fit, and as such everyone will respect everyone else.
Have fun, be friendly, treat each other with compassion, be a family or get beat with the ban stick.
We have spoken.
