I have an opportunity to buy a friend's lease return 07 V6 6-speed manual accord sedan in Satin Silver Metallic, and it is totally stock, never been modded, and well taken care of(the family has honda and acura dealerships) He just asked for 1000cash over his buyout price, which is about half of what it cost 2 years ago, and the car is mint.

I would have to sell my fit or my other accord, but I would easily part with the fit, I love my CG3 coupe too much honestly. All I would really do to the sedan would be medium tint and rear decklid spoiler, and some black housing HID headlights, and sport drop on konis. I wanna sell my fit so bad. It just feels like it is falling apart after 10 months, and accords are more substantial. Plus if the accord sedan was my DD car, I could finally do some hidden garage shit to my coupe.

The hard part is, I have no job at the moment and am relying on savings to get me through the bad times ahead. The recession is nowhere near over. I need to find a way to make it happen. The thing that kills is it would cost me less than the fit. I really need my girl to buy my fit off me since she drives it all the time. I pay for it 100%.

Seriously, I see this happening. I already have the best year coupe, as it resembles the NSX, and it's about as modded as it is gonna get without an H22 swap(which I did on my lil bro's 93 civic eg hatch). But even if I only put 2000 down, My payment would be less than the fit for the same length of time. Retail price is 20k plus, and the rarity of the v6 6 speed accord sedan is insane. They didn't make many, especially in Satin Silver Metallic. I actually have the cash to buy either car outright, but want a security blanket.

One other thing I have thought of, is rent out a room in my house. I haven't had a roommate in a while, but if i could rent a room to a chill friend, it would easily allow the new Accord Sedan. Its the 07, so 7th gen. and 250hp before any mods, tons of room, and 30mpg, I dunno how I could not buy it. Its an opportunity I can't pass up.

I have cash chillin. I haven't spent any money since 2005 when I bought my bike. So I Have been saving ALL my paychecks, working 60+ hours a week for last couple years. So even after losing my job, I have enough to live off of for a year, and to pay off my fit at any time, or to buy the accord. And seeing how I have had a couple minutes to play with the idea, I already have a mod plan. Once I have a mod plan, I USUALLY buy the car.


Thats a 2" drop on 19"s with machined face and black painted background, with OEM trunklip spoiler(i think it already has it) and photochop tint and dark headlight housings. You have to see the goal to make it happen. If my girl takes over on my fit, My payment would be 100 bucks less a month.

Plus, I have been paying 100% of everything on the fit. My girl has been puttin the wear and tear on it. So I have paid 5 g's plus in taxes, insurance, payments, and registration, and then have to keep fixing shit. I'm not even gonna replace the busted fogs, I am LaminX'n the lenses with 2 coats of yellow, and then putting a lexan shield over the housings, and painting them with Undercoating spray to resist chipping. The bulbs still work, and nobody really stares at the fogs, and they are bound to be beat even more.

And this is the actual car next to my fit, so it does need lip spoiler and front lip spoiler, and a drop, and some tint to start with, and its already sick.

 

Well man im all down for new cars. But with u, u said u have enough money to last a year right well u have no job now and this is only the begining with the economy. I am sure this is going to last more than a year so inless u can find a job with in the next year for sure i would say no. but if u can find a job do it man fits are nice but accord is so much nicer

 

And my other buddy is selling a BABY'd 00 coupe like mine, but EXL-V6 auto. My girl would be all over that because it is white, and the only mods is an intake and black housing headlights. I have enough spare parts I could have it lookin really good in a day or two, and the rims are same between 00 and 07 coupes, pretty funny.

The white one would be the womans car if we go that route. I would buy it cash and let her pay the payments on the fit. The coupe I can get for 6k, the sedan v6 6 speed is much newer but also 10k more expensive. I would rather own shit NOW. Plus I KNOW it's been babied, and his dad owned a car dealership before, so all maintenance has been done. He drives like an old lady anyway. I think two coupes and a fit would be a good combo.

 

i want either a crx or an eg with a k24/k20 turbo and gutted.

 

CRX or EG, H22 is the way to go, nothing quite like liquid tires and 13s with all motor just bolt ons, not even tuned. Parts are WAYYYY cheaper, and readily available. The last EG hatch I put together was 6k including car, parts, swap, etc.




NO AC, NO PS, NO BS!!! just fvckin stupid fast. Messed with tons of other swap and turbo cars, only car we got beat by was an EK B18 TypeR swap with a JRSC fully tuned with exhaust cutout dump tube, sounded like a 747 next to us, which is no joke in an H22 EG with straight through exhaust just Magnaflow muffler tucked up, Intake etc, cuz that is loud anyway. Best $$ wasted EVER.

 

I'm the complete opposite, I have an itch to get something else that's not a Honda.

 

we just sold my gfs infiniti G20 and we're gonna buy my friends 07 sedan V6 with air suspension.. cant wait!
