are their any options out there for me? i've had an 09 fit base since feburary and i haven't been able to sell my old car yet. i have the title and the car runs pretty well. still gets good gas mileage. summer of last year it blew a header so i had that fixed, header reworked, new gasket and a valve job while they were in there. 6 months later it was blowing some smoke out of the tailpipe. like i said, it still drives ok, it just wont pass smog. has a bunch of other new parts as well (clutch, radiator, timing belt, distributor).

got any ideas for what i should do?

haha, you want it, come buy it. i'm in socal. ca dmv says we need smog to change hands...

 

leave it outside and someone will snatch it for free. ;)

hmmm i will consider it. i am taking it again for a smog retest after filling the tank with additive. we'll see how that goes...

haha like like the poe-poe. expired tags and no insurance. they've already left a nice little sticker on the windshield.
