nice score on the Del Sol, hard to find one in decent condition, harder to find one at the right price without being modded out....not exactly a Fit but hey, the baby is all yours...as long as your happy, who cares. right?!?

Yeah I got lucky. 147k miles, never modded performance-wise. Just some blue stitched seat covers, boots, and LEDs. Easy fixes. Plus, I got it for $3700 and could probably sell it for close to $5000 if I wanted to. Never would, but a nice thought lol Sol's with an EG2 in the VIN are rarer than rare. In the last week, I've only seen 2 other del sol's. Funny because when I had the Fit I never noticed any Sol's. I guess it's always that way with whatever car you drive lol

update since last: BC coilovers, Blox LCA's, hood and bumper bra, painted wheels ;D

best pic of the drop before wheels were painted:

it rained hard today when I put the dried wheels back on, I'll get better shots tomorrow. Plus I'm a noob and the front right wheel needs to be redone because I missed lots of spots ;/

Nice touch with the green accents on the wheels.

Are you enjoying the new ride?

Thanks, I did it in tribute to the Fit. I'm a fan of rave culture, and those colors are my favorites lol. It's been a lot of fun so far. Taking it up to 8200rpm was actually scary (I've never redlined a car before, but I had to in this one for kicks lol).

I have to say, the Fit was more fun :| maybe after I do intake and exhaust and more suspension bits, I'll change my mind.

Yeah it's getting harder to find the original DOHC delSol's now. I love the rare stuff ;D

next spring I am looking to find a RHD front clip from the JDM SiR. I don't want to do B18C or K20 because then I'd lose the essence of the SiR ;P

could be, that's why I'm renewing it! Coilovers and lower control arms are new, just need front and rear strutbars, upgraded swaybars, subframe brace, etc lol

little update. Got coilovers, lower control arms, JDM SiR doorpanels with tweeters, 96-97 del sol black rear interior panels. Also scored on craigslist today a guy selling CF hood and trunk, with no way to ship it, he wants $700 but since he's 15 minutes away and can't ship it to anyone, I offered $500 + my hood/trunk. This would be a sick deal since they go for $1,000 shipped online. I'd be able to knock that out and have a non-dented hood and spoiler-free, emblem-free trunk. Pray he gets back to me lol.

Yeah, a new rear swaybar, subframe brace, and tie bar would make the underside look super sexy. All in due time :P

my ground clearance:

painted wheels black and the lugs green ;D

I might be picking up this set of wheels with new 15" Kumhos for $500 this week:

Seems like a good deal for a second set, I'll put those on for the winter, and toss my current tires out and have the OEM's powdercoated.

oh f-ck... Sorry to hear about your fit... same thing happened with me a year ago. Had my fit for 6 months, 16 year old kid driving a civic rammed into my front yard where I had left my sisters civic and my fit due to us leaving to mexico bc of my grandmothers passing. Both cars totalled. My ex-wife took this pic after they dropped the green civic off of my front hood, it was actually on top.
