I've seen people ... and friends hit about 290-310 hp on stock TD04 ... of course that's with pushing that little turbo to it's limit.

Vishnu ... i rarely see people run those anymore. And Utec I rarely see people running those only one older subarus... like 02-03s ... I know mostly people are running Cobb, protune and OS.

back then people uses vishnu and utec... they're one of those plug and play tunes or something. Since there weren't lots of good tuners... correct me if I am wrong on this one. This is why I said lots of people now go to tuners cause they're more experience and less engines blowing lol.

Actually after you mentioned it i have heard of UTEC. But now-a-days as far as a tuning device, COBBs the shit!

 

there's lots of great tuning and tuners out there... cobb AP just got more famous... the person who programmed OpenSource (which I use) now works for Cobb I believe... Thing I hate about cobb is that you pay 600$ for the device then pay more to get professional tune.

Is Vishnu still around? I remember there was a ton of talk on the Evo forums about their new tune for the X right when it came out and some of my Subie friends were waiting for their stuff to come out as well but then after that...nothing. I haven't heard of anyone running Vishnu on either the the new STi or Evo X. I thought they died or something. :X
