Get a Fit or Truck

Well guys i own a S2000CR. Well im looking for something with more room for my girl. We were thinking about a truck, but i use to own a fit. And i remember that i could fit any thing in a FIT. And i know every thing is cheaper with a fit like gas, insurance and maintance. But i'm thinking there is still more room in the truck and its able to tow. Also safer crash ratings as well. Now i was going to trade the CR in but could not get what i want for it so i will keep it. Which one do u think is a better idea to get. I need something that can fit 4 people with ease can carrythings around can hold a child seat as well would be nice. Now i would like to be able to carry something as big as a living room coach. Not sure if the fit can do that. Thanks guys and gals for any insight on this. I really want a truck but want some outside views on this looking to buy within the next year

My girlfriend has a 09 Tacoma and i have a 07 Fit. When we go out around town we take the fit and it can handle taking a car load of people around town. but it doesnt compare to the towing power and space you have in the truck bed.

i think the worst thing you're going to have to worry about, is the gas mileage. since you have both a s2k and the truck. its gonna add up eventually. unless you trade your s2k for a fit =]

get a Fit.....................preferably GD3 you think you'll need the towing ability but trust me for the rare occasions you'll actually need it, it won't be worth it my dad learned that after trading in the Jeep that he loved for his more towing friendly Hemi durango

It seems an odd question to ask on a Fit forum. A pick-up and a Fit are so far apart that I find it hard for you to be undecided between the two. If in doubt, do nothing.

^^ i like how u think lol. I probaly will change my mind knowing me. But i am keeping the CR for sure no way i can take $20k for it like they were trying to give me. I was looking at evos and stis for sh$$s and giggles. They have 4 doors which i like but not really enough room to carry things like the fit does and not cheap to keep. But i have decided etheir way i will take my time on this. And buy which ever one i get a really good deal on.I'm geting a $300 a month raise in Jan so right now im just saving my money till i find whats right for me. Right now i can't find any fits even close to me for sale. And all the trucks near me that i looked at are way over price so thanks and im still on the look out.

Element - split the difference. I had one for three years - ~20 mpg, lots of interior space, awd, tows up to 1500 lbs, great crash ratings, Honda reliability.
