Got My DD not a truck but still lots of room

Thanks guys for steering me away from the SRT. U were all right my money should not be flused down the toliet on a high performance truck when i have a CR for fun. Well my friend had a 92 Toyota Previa with 187kmiles on her. Its not nice faded paint some rip seats. But i did research on this van they seem very well built. Most people seem to be able to get 400k miles out of the engine. The only bad things is brakes seem to go fast and mpg not great 24-28mpg about the same as my CR. But it can fit a coach in it so plenty of room in it. I payed $450 cash for it and will get some pics once i clean it up. I figure if it last me a year with out any thing going wrong i got my money's worth. But from reviews on edmunds and toyota forums this van will last to 300-400k with just fluid changes and brakes

the only bad thing i hear about those vans is that it gets hot in the cabin since the motor is right next to the driver

You got a more reliable Previa for the same amount of dough you'd need just to fill up the SRT-10 4 or 5 times. Good choice :D

the previa's engine last FOREVER (make sure yours is not the S/C one..those are a little less reliable)

Thanks guys i get her tonight and will start cleaning it and working on her. I found out today $187 to get plates and register it. I was thinking dam thats almost half the cost of the van right there.

Yes. Brilliant.

Reliable asian car >>>>> Loud american brick

That SRT10 for all its HP is a styling disaster IMO, the power would be old after 10 burnouts and a trip to the gas station.

Your van may be better mileage than my cb7 accord tbh.

She gets 22mpg as of now. Its not a great van in looks wise the only engine problem is she leaks a little amount of oil when driveing. And i do mean little.
