Water/Meth(anol) Injection!

Does anyone use water/methanol injection for a NA vehicle? It seems to make sense on paper...Higher octanes, cooler intake temperatures... but would it be worthwhile in a vehicle that will not be built substantially?

Also is the injection before the IAT sensor? It has to be otherwise Fuel/Air would be off correct?

It looks like it could be fun, but what gains could I expect?

I am tossing around the idea (not very seriously) for a CB7 with a F22a1 engine.

I don't see the benefit in a NA engine unless you have a high compression ratio.

Snow performance seems to think their product will not cause knock, and even in NA applications, provide on the order of 10-15 HP.

Can someone explain Why exactly it would, or could, cause knock?

I am checking for the f22a1 compression ratio now....

Turns out compression ratio is 8.8:1 (From KBB.com). What do you guys and gals think?
