I might not need to go. I think I have all the exterior parts that I need minus the carbon fiber roof cap.

Engine/Drivetrain:
Spoon Sports JDM B18C ITR motor
JDM S80 ITR transmission with LSD
Aeromotive fuel pressure gauge

Suspension:
Uknown cheap ass looking coilovers

Brakes:
Power Slot slotted brake rotors (Front/Rear)
Project Mu HC+ brake pads (Front/Rear)

Wheels/Tires:
OEM GS-R Fat Five wheels

Exterior:
Mugen license plate bolts

Interior:
Circuit Hero shift lever extender
Circuit Hero SS shift knob

Electronics:[/quote]

Motor will be fine, add Skunk2 valvetrain componets.

Coilovers are not going to work, That should be your first purchase. Try D2 or Skunk2 Pro C's. Either are perfect to time attack. Time Attacks are won in suspension. Also try rear LCA's, front and rear strong bars(benan or beaks?), upgrade your sway bars(add a larger rear?), Upper Shock tower bars(your choice), And a 6-10 point cage would not be a bad idea either. Spend ALL your money in SUSPENSION you will not be disappointed!!!!

Fat Fives are also a Bad idea they are extremely heavy, but will work until your funds are right.

Screw the exterior, you will be messing that up anyway!

Strip the interior, and add a nice seat(1) with harness to hold you in.

Just my two cent. Ignore it or follow it. Just advice to a fellow racer.

oh he knows suspension is key, there's a sticker on his windshield that says

'corners > straights' (close enough)

I think those are just what were already on it, I know he had Pro-C's and (maybe) Tein Flex's on his DB8 at one point or another

1. Motor will not be touched. The ITR valvetrain will be fine.

2. I'm planning on getting the Buddy Club Racing Spec Damper. Along with a multitude of suspension components.

3. The car came with Fat Fives. I'm not stupid enough to use them on the track. Come on guys...

4. Exterior will be mostly stock for now minus the carbon fiber roof cap. Instead of just filling in the moonroof hole, I've decided to just replace the entire roof skin with a carbon fiber cap. I plan to add some aero parts once I start clocking in faster lap times.

5. The interior is already stripped. I plan on getting a bucket seat, harness and roll bar.

6. And yes, my personal philosophy, "Corners > Straights".

98-01 front or 94-97? I read the 98-01 is more aerodynamic?

Yup. Don't worry, I plan to build the entire car with excellent balance.

Update:

I just picked up B18C1 and Y80 transmission from a friend last night. The motor needs and overhaul and the tranny possibly needs new synchros. Can't complain since I got them for free.

The racing spec dampers are much better than the D2 or ProC's imo. Even nicer if u can corner weight your car too.

If u need transmission replacement or gearing/differential setup give my friend Pat Seto at Mfactory a shout & tell him Jackie in Vancouver send u.

Yeah, I'm planning on having my DC2 corner weighted after I get the RSD. Funny, I was actual looking into MFactory for new carbon synchros. Thanks man, I appreciate it.
