wow... xD's aren't very aero dynamic.
ive hit several birds with my cars in the many years driving but the funniest was when i almost hit a bird in my G35C at expressway speed. the dumb bird didn't hit the car at all, flowed over the hood, over the glass, over the roof, got sucked into the car's vortex and smashed into the pavement behind my car. hahahahaha. and ofcourse got stepped on by the car driving behind me. :D

Hit a huge ass crow in a Model A Ford going about forty. The sucker had time to see it coming and was diving for the ground to miss us. He didn't make it. I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning eviscerated crow off the front suspension. Could have been worse, i suppose he could have augered into the windshield, talk about un-aerodynamic!

SEAGULL for sure - stupid bird. Almost did that with a turkey' scarry pics - not a good way to get hurt. K_C

simple laws of physics govern the answer to these questions
since the bird came like a projectile and its speed was quite high
and also ur wife's car had a velocity
the glass particles of ur car flew in a direcn which was a vector resultant of both the velocities
