I despise people who don't use their signals and people who drive 60mph on the #1 lane. I hate overly lifted trucks with blinding glare hids with screaming knobby off-road tires.

 

People who won't speed up to freeway speed on the onramps. Come on! You can't merge with a speed differential, and waiting for someone to take pity and move left is NOT the answer. If I can do it driving one of the slowest cars on the road, you'll be fine!

 

How about a thread where we vent about people who can't spell instead? ;)

Imagine in my case. I drive a big rig. . These idiots expect you to yield to them. Umm. . No. You're getting ran off the road. I'm not losing my hard earned MPH BC your a Jack ass that doesn't know how to use an accelerator pedal.

Another thing. Remember that on a 3 lane highway, the middle lane is our fast lane. Big trucks aren't allowed to drive on the left lane. I'm sure these middle lane offenders are too dumb to read signs that clearly state no trucks in left lane.. And are sitting in their cars like.. " what an asshole truck driver.if he wants to pass he can pass me on the left, like everyone else."

 

I've always found truckers to be the most courteous, disciplined drivers on the road (for obvious reasons - the phrase "leave it to the professionals" isn't just something someone made up!). Best lane discipline, most likely to flash to pass, flash a thank you, let you know when you're good to move over.

Most times people are complaining about truck drivers, it is because they are ignorant of the mores and common courtesies of the road, and making asses of themselves.

Lack of lane discipline seems to be the basic root of most road rage - drive right, pass left people, it ain't rocket science. If you are in the inside lane, and not passing anyone, you are wrong.

I don't recall ever having problems with big rig drivers, my only beef is... cannot stay near them. Blind spots will kill ya! Even in the back, I had a big rig pick up a pebble with one of its tires... moments after that, i had a tiny little hole in the windshield.

On occasion, I do find it funny... I'm speeding along (even over speed limit) and I get passed by a big rig... I think to myself... "OMG WTF?!? The world is ENDING!!!!"

The other day, I was on the highway, some dumbass decided to cut off a big rig. Who the hell, in their right mind would cut into the path of a big rig, with less room to fit a... Fit in there. All I could think was, if the vehicle in front of the idiot braked, we're all screwed.

Oh yeah... it only gets worse, when they SLOW DOWN instead. I actually had to come to a stop because someone in front came to a stop. How the heck do these people plan on merging with 60 mph traffic from a standstill, when you're already in the merging lane?!?

 

Driving in Spain a little while ago it is a law that the left lane is only for passing. Good god does that work great. Then I return home and i got people going 50 in both lanes for 10 miles in a 65. WTF.

Oh and a side note if there's a booger thats in my schnoze. Im picking it. Who cares who sees me. I dont give a sh#t. Its my nose, my car. Odds are no one will see me ever again that saw me anyway. All season floormats FTW

One more good story. I was driving my buddy and this chick downstate MI. Had a Silverado with 1 bench seat owned by Him not I. He wanted me to drive, so I did. They started full on banging in there. Hardcore. Talking porn action, multipule angles and shit. At one point she even asked me if she could suck it. I declined knowing a little bit of her past. Anyways the best part was I being the driver made sure to get right up the the cars I was passing so they could see the action going on inside the cab. This continued for quite some time... I found it hilarious. Until bubble gum somehow got in her trimmed pubes. And thats where ill leave that story off.

Yea do ur best to stay away from trucks.. not only do we have rocks kicking up, you'd be surprised how many parts come flying off

 

I hate left lane campers, middle lane campers, and people who drift over the centerline of a two lane road. STAY IN YOUR OWN LANE!


And I have to agree with you guys above. Over-the-road truckers are generally the only ones on the road who know what they are doing. I much prefer to have several trucks around me than most of the yahoos who think a car is the big appliance with wheels. I am always amazed when "four wheelers" cut in front of a rig, slow down sharply, or tailgate. The truck will always win.

The guys that drive the little Mitsubishi box vans, however, think they are driving go-karts. :D

people who dont know where they are going, stop at every street to look, and hold up traffic.

also known as my gf. THe only person that could smoke a cig, put make up on and talk on the phone at the same time while driving. Hence why she hit so many things and eventually totaled her car.

 

Passive/Aggresive drivers. The folks who camp in the left lane at the speed limit, and speed up to block anyone who would dare to pass them. Anyone who merges with their brakes instead of the throttle. Red light runners.

not really road rage but my neighbors in my old neighborhood would always have people over at night, and my driveway was long! but one of them decided it would be smart to pull in the end of my driveway and i was already pissed/stressed since we were moving the next day and had a ton of shit to deal with. so i call them and ask them to ask them to move it (they obviously had a few too many) but no one comes out after a few mins, i call back and no answer, i go to the door and they can SEE ME THROUGH THE WINDOW and they still dont get the door so i laid on the horn for like a minute, still nothing... so i just drove right across their lawn. I was sooo pissed at them! when i came back i saw the damage haha, there was some decent tread marks! and the car was still there. i left a note on the door saying thanks for moving.

good thing we moved the next day! :rotfl:

respect big rigs! they own the road! plain and simple.

i just got to add one more thing.

i hate when your driving and some douche speeds up cuts you off just to get in front at a stoplight, or same scenario but they speed up:vtec:, cut you off, and have to slam on their brakes because they didn't see the car in front of me:mad:...
