Silly Pet Peeve...

You push the pedal to release the clutch. You let out the pedal to engage the clutch.

If I grab your boob and you tell me to release my clutch, I'm not going to squeeze it (or AM I... ;-) )

Mine is when someone says "supposably" instead of "supposedly."

"Having said that...." sick and tiered of hearing it when a simple 'however' will do.

Sarcasms, take it lightly, or not!

- Fast lane owners (This lane is mine and I don't care if the sign says "Slow traffic move right."
- freeway mergers ("Everyone needs to slow down, give me the right of way and wait till I'm ready.")
- psychic drivers (What's wrong with you, don't you know what I'm thinking?)
- car owners, specially luxury cars, who don't buy the "blinker option" but have everything else.

Slowing to a stop to make a turn off of a two lane road.
Other drivers in general, all of them.

clips =/= magazines

a tubular red dot optic is not a scope unless it performs more than 4x magnification

a red dot in an optic is not a laser sight

"your" means "belongs to you"
"you're" means "you are"
"break" means "busted"
"brake" means "stop"
"their" means "belongs to them"
"there" means "over yonder" or "there is"

"I could care less" when what they really mean is "I couldn't care less"

"Wokened up", arggghhh. It's "awakened". Although this one will probably be accepted English soon. I'm started to hear news commentators use it.
