The FIT is for anyone that wants a well designed smaller car that is peppy and fun to drive, modern, safe, good on gas mileage, versatile and fairly roomy no matter what the AGE you happen to be.
My daughter enjoys driving our FIT and she is 19.
Maybe she will still feel the same in 40 more years.
You know how you have certain feelings about cars you grow up driving!
The FIT does have some unique personality.:D

I love the fit, dont get me wrong, but i drive a scion xb and NOTHING looks like it...not even the element.
But you got the fit, that new chevy aveo, the ford focus, that suzuki thing with the black hatch (that does look pretty cool, IMO)too many hatches on the road today, and personally iv'e confused an aveo for a fit a FEW times
I'm sticking with my scion xb for now, but i might get my gf a new fit next year and surprise her....shes been wanting one for a while, and i might be getting a substantial raise next year...so hello VIP XB for me, and Hello fit for my gf...but yeah, as for me, i like the xb. (But, i'd love to have a fit too, dont get me wrong, hehe)

My first choice, prior to test driving either car was the xB. My big problem was once I got to drive the xB all bets were off. The automatic was really slow, and I didn't want to go back to a manual transmission.
If Toyota could tune the tranny on the xB, they'd have a real winner. Very sharp looking car and I was amazed at how large it was inside.
I love my fit, but looks wise, I think the xB has got us beat. BTW i'm 32 yrs old...

Had an xB for 2 years before getting the Fit. Excellent car, and I enjoyed it very much. In my case though, I wanted more performance, and as good as the xB was, the Fit is just that much better in many ways, and that's what sold me. Style-wise, you do get noticed in an xB, though.

What about the new Xb that's coming out for 2008? If it looks like the one now in Japan, what would you think? The body is the same basically but has a different look to it. Interior is a lot different. Still has the center guages but has a way different look to it than the current car. I dunno about the engine, but that car needs some power, especially with the auto trans.

I don't know. All I see here are people in their 40-50's driving Fits (besides me of course). :D

I dont think the big issue with the Fit is age, old vs. young. It's more to do with quality and value. This translates into intelligence and that's the customer base for the Fit. Reading through the postings here, the age group seems to be a distribution of all ages from 17 to 63+. Common theme is we all like the value vs cost equation. Value as in what it's worth to us vs. what we throw down to get it.
I'm happy with my purchase and my 15 year old son who I am teaching to drive, with my new Fit, also loves the car. He has a 17 year old friend who got a Fit from his parents. The Fit transends age which is quite an accomplishment these days.
