Car is being taken to the dyno facility for cam swap and dyno pulls on the 27th.

Modifying the timing case to accept an SFI approved dampener as well.

Here's some shots from after the detailing, guy did a hell of a job considering this is original 23 year old paint!

Still wrapping up the door trim and the bumpers. Purchased an unmolested full interior for street duty while I save up over the next year for the ridiculousness that is an LSR cage, 12 gallon coolant reservoir, fire suppression, etc.

A damn fine job I'd say!

I hope there's some fender flares in that budget as well to tuck the current state of mexiflushness :P

No flares on the list, too much of an aero penalty for a car that will never see a circuit. Until I find a buyer, the monster truck stance is here to stay for street duty.

Found the error in my notes that led to this .. original wheel sizing and backspace was done to accommodate a 235/60 drag slick with room for stock perches to account for tire growth at speed.

These tires should have been on a 15x7 with 4.5 BS, instead they found themselves wrapped on 15x8 with 4.5 BS

The upside though is the wider rim increases section width and takes up sidewall flex some what. It looks odd, but not awful when you take the car in as a whole. It works with its eccentric character in a way. Would look completely retarded on nearly any other car however. My stance friends consider it aa mortal sin of course.

So, these are 15x8 inch with a 4.5" BS = "0" offset? Mounted with 225 RS3's? looks to be 5x114.3 bolt pattern. What is the hub bore? Do you want to include the tires in the sale? Gimme detail's and a price point and I will pimp them out to the folks I know, stance and race LOL

Err.. 16x8 4.5BS (+0) with 225/50/16 RS3's

Caps are listed as 3.3" Bore

Car has obviously not been driven yet, would sell with or without the tires. Buyer pays shipping of course.

Wheels/caps/lugs - 369.10

Tires - 538.44

The combo cost me $907.54

I'd probably let the whole deal go for $750 + freight.

Thank you sir, and nor can we!

Shaking things out a bit this week NA style and may build a pound or two of boost to trigger the 3 nozzle WMI system.

No joke, the time and effort he put in vs. what he charged was ridiculous.

He's someone who truly loves what he does and it shows. Did a damn good job at polishing that turd! lol

Pumping out the old gas, time to fill up on E85.

Name: E85-swap_zps809868ea.jpg

And as luck would have it an E85 pump opened up right around the corner for my house, selling the stuff at only 2.99/gal! I am taking the car to the dyno on Saturday afternoon, but still waiting on my crank dampener so that may hold us up a bit.

We are doing a cam and spring swap while we wait.
