i'm liking this car more and more. esp after reading the piece with the chief engineer. ft86 reminds me of my e30 M3, and seems an appropriate successor in spirit to that fantastic car. light, rwd, simple. not the car to set time attack records, but the car to smash technically better cars and drivers with big egos given my budget and the roads we have in CA.

even if it's a flop in sales, i like the direction toyota has gone with it. if driving it in stock form sucks, there's always hope that aftermarket can fix it.

definitely would stick with the NA, low powered toyota version. a turbo'd STI version would miss the point of this car.

yah, and some staggered wide 18 or 19's for sure to make it kenchan worthy... im not feeling these cars (FRS or the BRZ) as i did the concept model.

this is like when infiniti released the G37C concept.... i luved the concept car but hate the actual G37C production car.

here's wat it can look modded. now it's starting to grab my attention again. :)

i like how it kinda looks like my 370Z from this angle yet it's a 4banger and can carry my kids along.

The car looks really nice in this photo, but I'll have to admit that this has to be the most staged photo of a car that I can remember.
