Has anybody been following this history making event? First time ECU's and water cooled engines have been used and they have tons of tweeks to work out.. Rained out on Sunday, first time ever to roll on a 'Prime' Monday night slot... The race is half way completed..don't know yet if they will finish but the guy in the lead would win by rule if they can't and he has never won a major race. Then the poor guy drives his car into a fuel truck and that explodes and to top all that off female sensation Danika can't even stay in the race..
Dayum! What's next?

Decided to tune in because of this post. Montoya's run-in with the fuel truck was pretty crazy. Major coincidence.

 

Yeah Hayden, its something about watching a car in upwards of 200mph zooming past you with a 1700 watt surround sound punching you in the ears..
Great race. Ford was to much for them yet again...

 

I don't think its the first time using water cooled engines. Great race, other than the wrong guy winning.

 

It was the first time they used EFI which needed and ECU.
