Maybe the Yaris was left out because Toyota decided to leave out the 5 door hatch model, thus making the entire line useless to most anyone considering these highly-functional cars.

 

The Kia Sportage was a little weird

All 5-doors, of which the 5-door Yaris is not available in US

 

I agree on the Kia Sportage. It's a small SUV and doesn't belong with the "B segment". I don't know how they came up with the 7 -- some get awful gas mileage. One thing with all of these articles, no matter who writes them -- they never leave out the Fit! Even if they're only writing about one or two vehicles, they always use the Fit as the standard for comparison. My carpooler commented just this morning that he hasn't seen another Fit since we spotted one about two months ago. Honda is offering incentives on its bigger vehicles. Maybe they're trying to unload as many of those as they can before they go into heavier production on the Fit.
