Ford has released this week pricing details for the 2014 U.S.-spec Fiesta ST.
The base Fiesta ST costs 22,195 USD and can receive additional equipment such as a power moonroof which is an extra 795 USD. The Rado Gray 17-inch alloys are 375 USD option, while for 1,995 USD you can get heated Recaro seats. A package consisting of a Sony HD radio, navigation system and Ford's SYNC will set you back 795 USD.


The 2014 U.S.-spec Fiesta ST is available only as a five-door hatchback with a six-speed manual transmission. Power comes from a 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine with 197 hp (147 kW) and 214 lb-ft (290 Nm) of torque, making it more powerful than its European brother. It will return 34 mpg US (40.8 mpg UK or 6.9 liters / 100 km).

This looks like such a cool car. When I was car shopping I checked out the regular Fiesta, but the back seat is no where near as roomy as the Fit and it was a deal breaker for me. At 6'-1" I had to hunch over to keep my head from touching the headliner sitting in the back seat. Nice car otherwise though.
