Honda Accord Coupe gains a factory performance package
Costs $4,620 without installation
Honda has officially launched the Honda Factory Performance (HFP) Package for the 2013 Accord Coupe V6.
Originally introduced at SEMA, the limited edition package adds a front spoiler, revised side skirts and a decklid spoiler. There's also a sports-tuned suspension (which reduces the ride height by 15mm), special badging and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Interior changes are limited but include red illumination and HFP floor mats.
According to Honda Performance Development senior program engineer Lee Niffenegger, "The new Accord Coupe V6 is already a natural on twisty roads, but the HFP package really takes it to a new level. With a lowered ride height, sport suspension and more performance-oriented tires, the HFP kit definitely provides more controlled body motions and enhanced stability."
Only 500 models will be equipped with the HFP package and it costs $4,620 without installation.
