2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe announced for SEMA debut
Promising increased performance
Honda has announced plans to introduce the 2014 Civic Si Coupe next month at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
The Japanese marque says they have sharpened the coupe’s exterior styling as well as improve its performances. From this single official photo we notice the rear wing and bumper have been redesigned, along with a restyled diffuser and updated taillight graphics. In addition, there seems to be a fresh new set of alloys while at the front there should be a few minor tweaks as well.
Since Honda promises “performance enhancements”, we expect output of the i-VTEC 4-cylinder 2.4-liter engine to be slightly bumped from the current 201 bhp (150 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm) at 4,400 rpm. The car will probably use the same close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox and should feature a helical limited-slip differential.
Honda says several variations of the Civic Coupe along with the Mean Mower will be exhibited at SEMA.

I like it but will probably never own anything with a SI badge.
It's sad but I would not want to deal with the constant theft issue.
I know you have insurance for this but I'd rather just drive my old folks car (Fit) lol

It takes a lot of cues from the 9th generation Accord coupe as I look at this drawing. Since the only countries where the Accord coupe is sold seems to be North America the Civic coupe SI may be the coupe for the rest of the world. Why would they sell this car in North America and erode Accord coupe sales. The current Civic coupe is nearing the end of it's generation.

Sadly I'll be missing SEMA this year due to work.
That rendering of the new Si coupe looks decent. And I had to go back to YouTube and watch that Honda mower clip again just for kicks.
On a side note ... I think I'm going to hold off on a new car as I'm in the works for hunting down K swap Fit's for sale.

The 2013 Civic was our best Civic yet, but we're always reaching for more. On November 5, we revealed changes for the 2014 Civic Coupe and Si Coupe at the show that sparked the import-tuner movement—the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas.
The 2014 Civic Coupe will feature a number of striking exterior changes, including an aggressively styled grille, hood, front fenders and headlights. Civic Coupe fans will also enjoy new wheel designs, side mirrors and taillight lenses, as well as sportier front and rear bumpers.
The 2014 Civic Si Coupe will feature Si-exclusive details like a decklid spoiler, distinctive front and rear air diffusers and larger and newly designed 18-inch (+1 inch) wheels and tires. And we’re happy to announce that the Si’s retuned exhaust system helps boost peak output to 205 horsepower[1] (+4 horsepower) and 174 lb-ft of torque[2] (+4 ft-lb).
More photos and information for the whole 2014 Civic lineup will be available soon, so keep checking back to see what's new.

i Coupe gains 4 bhp
Honda has officially unveiled the 2014 Civic and Civic Si Coupes at SEMA.
Following in the footsteps of the facelited sedan, the coupe receives new bumpers, a revised hood and a restyled grille. The model also gains new front fenders, revised mirrors and updated head- and taillights.
The Si Coupe has similar upgrades but is distinguished by a revised front bumper, a rear diffuser, a trunk-mounted spoiler and new 18-inch alloy wheels.
Detailed performance specifications were not released but the Si Coupe has a retuned exhaust that enables the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to produce 205 bhp (153 kW) and 174 lb-ft (235 Nm) of torque - a modest upgraded of 4 bhp (3 kW) and 4 lb-ft (5 Nm).
According to American Honda's executive vice president of auto sales, John Mendel, "With the further advancement of the 2014 Civic Coupe and Si models and an exciting path forward for performance parts drawing on our racing experience we are making a statement about our commitment to the fun to drive character of the Honda brand."

Not sure why seems like every new Honda has huge openings in the front and back bumper, has plastic prices gone up that much.
