Company has high hopes for the IS

Lexus has announced plans to introduce nine models at the SEMA Motor Show.
First up, the company will unveil Robert Evans' IS which was selected as the winner of the IS design challenge. The car was built by VIP Auto Salon and features an aerodynamic body kit, a carbon fiber interior and three-piece alloy wheels.
The IS 250 F SPORT by Paul Tolson and Gabriel Escobedo has a distinctive Glasurit Orange Mercury exterior with a wide body kit and Wheel Works Emotion CR Kiwami alloy wheels. The model also has air ride suspension, Rotara brakes and a sports exhaust system.
Vossen's IS 350 F SPORT boasts a Tommy Kaira body kit, a sports exhaust system and 20-inch Vossen CVT directional wheels.
Moving on, the Seibon Carbon IS 350 F SPORT has a variety of carbon fiber components including the hood, trunk, fenders, side skirts and rear spoiler. The model also has an A’PEXi SPL suspension, a custom air intake and 20-inch Volk Racing G27 wheels.
Philip Chase's IS 340 features a 2JZ-GTE engine which has been equipped with a 3.4-liter stroker kit and a Garrett GTX3582R turbocharger. Thanks to these modifications, it develops more than 700 bhp (522 kW).
The Gordon Ting IS AWD features a number of upgrades including a GReddy air intake, Street Flex coilovers and a sports exhaust system. Other highlights include Brembo brakes, Sparco seats and a TRD body kit.
The company will also display two customer cars including a supercharged 2004 IS 300 and 2007 IS 250 with F SPORT accessories. There will also be a 2012 LFA with an Artisan Spirits carbon fiber body kit and 20-inch Work Gnosis HS202 wheels.

Eight cars

Scion plans to assault this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas with numerous customized vehicles based on the FR-S, tC and xB.
The lineup will comprise five builds entitled Steve Aoki x Scion FR-S, Bulletproof FR-S Concept One, GReddy Performance x Scion Racing Drift FR-S, FR-S Style J and Strictly Business Cartel Scion xB. These vehicles have received a wide variety of goodies ranging from a fully operational mixing station and hand-made body to carbon fiber interiors and Wi-Fi hotspot. Other changes include turbochargers, track-tuned suspension, a Pioneer sound system and a wireless keyboard.
There will also be three heavily modified tCs part of the Scion Tuner Challenge: Simpli-tC by Young Tea, WSD-tC by Josh Croll and L-DZ Concept by Walter Franco. The tC trio will be judged by a panel from the Super Street magazine and the winner of the 10,000 USD prize will be announced on November 6.

Part of the Dream Build Challenge

Toyota has unveiled the Crusher Corolla, the Let's Go Moto Tundra and the CamRally for their Dream Build Challenge at the SEMA Motor Show.
First up, the Crusher Corolla was developed by BMX rider Drew Bezanson and Skullcandy. It features a colorful exterior with a bike rack, rally wheels and "grind rails" on the front and rear bumpers. The model has also been equipped with a bespoke interior and an upgraded audio system which is controlled by an iPad.
Moving on, the CamRally is a rally-inspired Camry from NASCAR driver Parker Kligerman and Kyle Busch Motorsports. Dressed in vintage Toyota racing colors, the model is equipped with a wide body kit, rally wheels and a prominent rear spoiler. The car also has racing seats, a roll cage, high-performance brakes and a Turbonetics turbocharger.
Lastly, the Let's Go Moto Tundra was developed by Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross (JGRMX) teammates Josh Grant and Justin Brayton. It features a rugged appearance thanks to a 12-inch lift, off-road tires and a heavy duty front bumper. The rear bed has also been replaced by a custom-built metal box with electronically-operated awning that open up to reveal three TVs, a video game console, a refrigerator, a power washer and a helmet dryer - among other things.
Toyota is currently holding a contest to determine which concept fans like best. The winner will be announced during a special internet broadcast on November 5th.
