Another small car in the street...Mitsubishi Mirage 2014 and is three-cylinder

Mitsubishi Motors has made one small car for those that are looking to save money on gas.Is the Mirage 2014.I had see a few of them around my town and they are really small.Saying to give 40 mpg and is 3 cylinder.I think they will sell them a lot.Gas price is a fact...it will never get down. The Mirage will be one nice city car to have and they came in a few nice colors too.Now the big question...Like or not like???

The problem with this car is that it doesn't really do anything well other than the MPG's

It's god awful ugly and doesn't stand out in an increasingly competitive field:

The Sonic, the Mazda 2, the Fiesta, and of course the Fit are all better buys than this car and will always win in side-by-side comparisons

Cheap as dirt, 40mpg, 2000 lbs, 10 year 100k mile warranty.

It's the new Geo Metro and the best thing that Mitsubishi could do right now IMO given their state as a company in America. I wouldn't drive it but I can see what they're doing.

As a prior Mirage owner I really was hoping for a 1.3L Turbo Ralliart version but I guess they need to get their act together first LOL

Mitsubishi use to make some cool looking cars the Starion, Eclipse, Gallant then it was like their design department was taken over by the Reliant K design team at Chrysler.

everything about the car is irrelevant given the 3 diamonds up front. Why would anyone buy a Mitsubishi in the USA when you would need to travel hundreds of miles to find a dealership should you need warranty work or parts. Thank you no.

At least you won't use a lot of gas getting there?

lol

Truth though, if this car fails they might as well pack up and leave. This is Mitsubishi's hail mary in the US.

If it was a honda, it would be sold in insane numbers. I think Mitsubishi has some major limitations due to brand image being pretty low these days.
Given that most customers are ignorant, they will not even give Mitsubishi Mirage a chance to show its strengths and advantages just because it's a what?? Mitsubishi, Mirage? No, thanks, I will go with Civic, Corolla, Yaris... Versa... whatever is familiar to the public at the moment.

That being said, I never heard much good being said about 3 cylinder design. In fact, it's supposedly a difficult to balance engine.

One small car I think looks cool with the Mirage, Smart, IQ and Chevy Spark offer here.

I like the design does not look like any other Honda only been around since 2011 and already doing K20 swaps and forced induction.
