I would like your honest opinions. I am going on vacation to Europe in less than 2 weeks, will be staying in Germany and Poland. While in Germany I will be lapping the Nurburgring. So my question is this...they do not offer any video packages for the laps i will be racing, so I would either like to get an action camera under $100 or I would like to see if my Galaxy S5 video camera would be enough. Has anyone used their S5 to record track or auto x racing? I have found some cheap examples for instance the Sj1000 camera is small, decent camera, comes with mounting hardware. But not sure if I need to spend the extra cash. all comments welcome. :)

 

I just wedge my iPhone under the passenger headrest and lock it down.

I'm sure you could just do the same with whatever phone as long as the video is good. Not sure the video quality on the S5 but i'm sure it's the same or better than iPhone 5.

 

I am going to buy a sturdy dash/windsield mount and try it out before i go, hopefully that works. I cannot use the headrest because my wife will be in the car with me and the car has fixed racing seats....so no adjustable head rests.
