2015 Ford Focus will have the 1.0L engine

Today I learned the 2015 Focus will have the new 1.0L engine in it. It should be out in January. The problem is it will probably cost $20,000.00 or more.

Nice but no thank you. I drove a 1.0 ecoboost Fiesta and that was somewhat impressed. I cannot see anyone wanting to own a Focus with that same engine.

No thanks.

As the former owner of a Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost....that engine will be dreadful in a heavier car.

And the car itself will also be dreadful in general.

I'll keep my GE plz.

Is it a three cylinder?
They are supposedly inherently unbalanced.

Seems like quite a bit of money for a focus.

They are.

Ford had some fancy 'solution' to reduce vibrations. It was moderately successful.
