thnaks man!

yes, I plan on weighing the car before and after, also the motors + tranny out of the car separately. There is no hard info on all of this so I will create.

I will also be taking some HD step by step pics of my swap progression for all people wanting to do this in the future and are picture nuts like me. I know hasport has them on their guide but I think that might be a little dated. And I know a few more tricks they for some reason they didn't do. I will also document how I bypass the abs unit and create my own brake lines and brake ratio (bias) valve to control it.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWA!

haha thanks man. yeah it could be more organized but with each page comes some pretty substancial mods. lol I really do appriciate your views and comments and inputs.

My current status is:
I'm only putting this motor in 1 time. lol I over looked getting a clutch and forgot about it so this past monday, I called clutchnet and spoke with Oleg (cool russian guy). He is SOOOO damn knowledgeable about clutches. wow! I placed my order for something crazy yet understandable lol. its being made now and will be here soon.

I didn't want to really bother anyone with little updates so ive been quiet but I'll tell you whats going on.

I ordered a clutch from ClutchNet and basically it was going to be here a week or so ago but due to incorrect address and usps sucking penis, it was returned to seller in a matter of hours so clutchnet accepted fault and will resend it asap. A week? Any ways, Im just waiting for the clutch to come in and Im putting her in.

over the past weekend I ordered a ton of parts.
- Crap ton of OEM honda engine parts from majestic honda, this also includes the EP3 pedal and what not.. A few k20A parts.

- I ordered the Hybrid Racing 70mm throttlebody
- Hybrid Racing Universal Race Harness
- RDX injectors

all this should be on the way along with the clutch

This friday I will be placing my order for KPro and IQ3 RacePak

then i just need fuel lines (once motor is mounted) and header. working on a header deal right now

Thanks for checking up on me

Hey J, When you finish everything do u think u can make a real total price of all the parts u needed and used. That way we can have a real cost of doing a K20 swap.

I've been keeping a spread sheet of every single thing I've purchased for this project. I put the list(normal) price on one column, and then the price I got it at in a second column to see how much I saved. Due to sponsorship agreement, I was asked not to display the cost of what I got parts at. So I will just post the normal price for everything.

I can tell you this though, I have beat the assumed/calculated/estimated cost that everyone thinks this project totals by a SH!T TON without gimping out or skipping anything. I am not taking any shortcuts. In fact, this project is uber high attention to detail. I've even replaced used parts with new ones that I didn't need to do, but did anyways. Here's an example of like a scale of quality for my swap.
1_ 2_ 3_ 4_ 5_ 6_ 7_ 8_ 9_ 10
|--|--|--|--|--|--|--|--|--|

1 = bare minimum to just get this hoe in the car, no ac, no nothing, just turn key and I haz k20.

5 = replaced normal oem parts that naturally wear (ie: clutch, plugs, flywheel, bearings, etc on motor). new hoses, has ac, hasport wiring so you can still use stock guages and DBW.

10 = brand new motor, build with all new after market parts, +tons of not really needed extras to make more power and maybe some hella bling. (ie: something like Felix )

I'm about an 8.
