JCrim's Road Racing Thread - Stay Tuned!
PS: This is a 2000 dollar job. Some people will be like
"FCUK THAT! TOO EXPENSIVE!" but when you see their work.. omg. and its a 1 time deal. why not suck it up and do it right the first time sense it is infact WELDED to the car. lol

I originally was going to get just a 4 point roll bar for the fit. Then i started comparing and saw MER's work then spoke with them. they soooo sold me hahaa.

Very very nice track build here. You chose wisely incorporating the front struts into the cage...just one less variable to compensate when tuning the sussy.
Have you thought about getting the fenders pulled (or welding a spacer at the mounting tabs) to increase front tire width? Prolly isn't necessary with stock engine, but 235's might help if you have a KWSC on your to do list...
Oh, and u can haz +rep

Total respect for doing this... I will stay glued to see where this goes. I assume power come next. Decided yet K or S/C ? Also what seat brackets are your using ?
BTW you should make a write to speedhunters.com on your car. Killer website of what I think are only the best cars... check it out. I bet money they would post this just because of how unique it is

If I write to speed hunters, is that like tooting your own horn? I don't want people to think I'm a douche.. Lol if anything I'd wait till the k swap. Quite a few people now have been telling me to write to a magazine but I never have before.
Thanks again for your support and subscribing
^-- that was MER idea. However after researching and speaking to some resources ^_^ here is what ill be going for.
Note: these pics are only used as a template for the rear legs, cross bars and X bars on the doors. i will have a diagonal leg from the main hoop coming down to the floor with a harness bar attached. the X bars will be connecting the rear legs and main hoop. Pretty much take the J's racing cage and the spoon cage below, add the diagonal bar and the harness bar, combine them two together and thats how it will look. Im stoked! To make it easier to understand; J's car is yellow inside, spoon is that dark bluish..

yes, my cage will go all the way up to the roof. thanks for viewing!
