I would rather not worry about extra variables when it comes to racing. Id rather focus on suspension. I am a fan of the rotrex but Im no FI fan. Yeah its fun as hell to ride in your car but imagine 200HP all the time. and REAL VTAAAAAAK YO! haha

As it is right now, my power to weight is head to head with an NB miata. Cant wait to change that up a little
Well Joe, your crazy as hell but you've got it down when it come to chassis tuning so my money is on you to be successful with the way you are doing what you're doing... I haven't had any issues with my engine but it is certainly more stressed than a larger one without boost.... I still think you will boost that bad boy in time, especially when you have the handling 100% and need a bit more of a chassis tuning challenge... With boost you would have one hell of a challenge.

haha nah if anything, I would make it a non street legal 100% full race car if I had it my way. dont really have a DD right now (besides my fit) but I know what i want, so I have to keep it some what decent if I did have a 2nd car, I would build the SH!T out of this k series and go built NA. would not be reliable though for DD haha. But I think I can get about 300 WHP and be reliable for dd. there is a thread on k20a.org on how to make your K sing 300 WHP. Ill get a K24 bottom end either before the actual install of my motor or maybe later on down the road to reach the 300 WHP goal. I read a LOT and people have sooooo much torque steer with a K series in their car. I think I will be plenty happy for the K20A R for a goooood while. I cant wait to see what it feels like. and to also STOMP THE BALLS out of these damn red neck truck guys in a straight line haha. I can walk the balls out of them in the turns of course but 90% of the time, they are like "Oh wait, there's turns here? Im out.. (left blinker.. out)" lol ass hats. haha

on a mature note, I want to see my indifference in track time with all this POWA! also, next weekend I will be at Texas World Speedway for the 4th time. this will be the first time to track with the cage and new wheels, and bigger rubbers. also need to play with my suspension settings. So. My best time, last time was a 2:25. I wonder what it will be this go around. then compare that time to the K. OMG haha. also, I am still learning how to drive just like everyone else at the track. They did up me to the next run group (level up yo!) so this will be more teaching. I know I can improve my lap time just with more seat time.

Stay tuned peeps!

With 300HP on tap in a car as light as yours you will be able to walk away from a lot more than trucks, beware of the turbo diesel jobberdoos belching huge clouds of smoke that stain everything around at intersections, especially the ugly ones...

Looks like you had a lot of fun. Your ride is just gettin' more and more awesome, I really like how you have it set up - looks great and I bet it runs even better!

Never been to those tracks yet. The motor is light! I don't care what anyone says. I picked the tranny up alone, easy mode. Me and a 2nd person picked up the motor. Just ackward to carry. I'll clean it up today ^_^

Could you tell a huge difference with the cage during your auto-x runs?

I'm going to say no because I've only autox'd like 3 times. I'm an autox newb and can't remember what it felt like last time. I'll tell you after the road course track this coming weekend though!

But yes the whole chassis is rigid as hell. When I ride over speed bumps (ones to slow you down in neighborhoods) If I hit the bump with my front right tire, I look in the rear and see the rear right tire off the ground also. If that helps haha

Oh man, I was looking at your autocross and started laughing... Dude your going to get pulled over one of these days, you and your girlie look like 8 year olds that stole a couple of helmets and their parent's car... I can imagine a couple of cops freaking out seeing the two of you with your heads bouncing and weaving and thinking the same thing.
