So I need a guinea pig!!!

so i go this company (Dropzone) that wants me to push there springs for them in the fit community, but i need someone that is willing to try them out to let me and and other fit member know how they handle, ride, etc. You must be willing to buy these at your know risk. I actually had these on a EG civic and rode great, but was many years ago and obviously on a civic not fit.
So if you are willing hit me up, the price will be 75 bucks shipped to you and the drop will be 1.8 in the frt and 1.5 in the rear.
The company is site is Dynamic Auto Design

I'd be a guinea pig...but only for free or at the most $25. I mean I'm gonna have to pay to get them mounted...and what if I hate them? I'm out the install fee again to return to stock or have a different set put on. I'm willing...but not for $75. They're wanting what amounts to a product endorsement without offering any real incentive.

i def understand but i guess they look at it as they have been in biz for a number of years the their product has been out there with no probs and they just wanted to push the the fit community. they will not offer these for free as they feel they don not need to, they are not a new company trying to get up and running and and build a rep.

I personally think they need to do this for free to get their "rep" up. Anything I have ever seen or known about them is that they are "cheap."

You could get a set of coilovers/springs on ebay for dirt cheap. Anyone that allows themselves to be whored out through eBay or a.i.m. needs to prove themselves to a community such as this IMO. They may ride good in the eyes of those who were brave enough to try them out, but for those who choose to spend a little extra KNOWING they are getting a quality product I.E. Tanabe, Tein, Skunk (had to prove themselves after entering the market and has made a dynamic name for themselves), Eibach and so on, should step it up so to speak. Reputation IS everything, and without it....not much happens.

So, like I said before...if they will do the springs for free, i will install them for free.

Not that it's likely they will turn around, but i am first in line bitches!

*EDIT* have you noticed that a great number of the proven companies STILL give away free items for r&d purposes? i remember a few posting here for guinea pigs that got complimentary products for their time

I agree with Gimme on this one. I, for one, have never even heard of this company. If they're truly interested in promoting their "presence" within the Fit community, they're gonna have to be willing to make a sacrifice or two. No one can promote them here if no one is willing to pony up to take a risk on these. If no one has them, then no one can recommend them. I'm willing to spend MY money to have them out on my car and MY money to swap them out if I don't like them...but it's only fair that they be willing to offer them up to get some free publicity on the board. I'd even be happy to send them their springs BACK if I didn't like them and swapped them out.

Forward them this thread to show them where we, as a Fit community, are on this. That might loosen them up a bit.
