got it from a friend so i dont know exactly where he got it but thats how much i paid for it. they are hard to come by but they do pop up every now and then.

 

If you want to call me a dumbass I'll understand that. Typically the license plates are stamped by the DMV of the state in which you live (fact). I may be missing something and I think the effect is incredibly cool but do you have to remove (machine off) the high spots on the plate (the digits) to achieve this effect? It's the only way the light could shine through! Please PLEASE "enlighten" me!

 

its not an actual license plate...as far as i know. some states dont require you to have a front license plate

 

So you would have to fabricate a fake front plate? I live in Missouri where front plates are required. If you modified what the DMV (think they're god) provided you might be in for some intimate time wearing handcuffs. I'd love to do this, the effect is incredibly cool but I'm 47, have actually worn cuffs many times, and am trying to keep that s&%t to a minimum nowadays.
