I'm not trying to help A&J racing but the truth is what i see, is not from what you say. If its true again that opak is the only distributor then prove it. You guys saying the A&J Racing are copying spoon exhaust well prove it? Comon you can talk all day long all week long but at the end is just an assumption. I don't have proof of AJ haven't copy J's exhaust but i do have evidence that they didn't copy spoon exhaust because i am pretty sure spoon would post something like J's did for the replica exhausts.... As some of you said, Spoon has deep pocket to file a lawsuit, why not? Copying spoon exhaust and selling it as spoon should be a big problem.

 

I (thought I) read this entire thread and I didn't see anyone say anything about Spoon knockoffs.

 

My bad, about the distributing but i've read a lot of forums and there are some other people not from this forum are talking about knock offs of spoon so sorta got mixed up.

this all started a year ago right here on fitfreak. when junktea got his j's distributor status, he posted a thread about the letter on junichi's blog. im pretty doubtful if we will ever hear the full and honest truth to this. one side is lying and the other side isnt. its too hard to tell who is being truthful, partly because of the language barrier. i wonder if there is any message boards in kanji that are talking about this.

I think this information is enough to proof AJ and Spoon's relation so No more guessing. Who's spreading false info ? Who's trying to mislead the crowd to draw their customer bases ? Go figure guys.

I have a feeling that J's is doing the same thing. Why this letter was not posted on their own website instead posted on a private blog ? IMO, it's very sketchy. If I was J's , I think I will treat this matter more professionally.

If spreading false info can move all AJR existing client base to another dealer (who had bashed AJR the most on this thread) Well, I think the J's & distributor have accomplished this to a certain point

 

I knew this was true when it came up a while ago.

I bought "Js" Roll center adjusters for 250 a pair. One broke and I had to buy a second pair just to get another one.

Is there anything we as customers can get in reimbursement?

 

well i was planning on spending 2000 dollars at aj racing but i have totally put that on hold until things get settled. thats why we are talking bout this. cause some people still want to buy things but now they are wondering who to buy from... and or if it is js at fault... then what manufacture of parts to buy..

 

oh... and as far as my roll center adjuster.... it didnt come come with the red spacers... i called ajs and they said it didnt need it... well then why is it in the pic???

 

Check on their site, the ones that are listed there, didn't have the rings showed.

 

When I purchase a little over a year ago they had the same pic I posted. That's when they were js dealer still. I didn't think anything of it. I just purchased from someone else but kept theirs as spair. like I said this was over a year ago. I still have it in the box it came in.

 

also, when evidence like this thread keeps popping up, you have to wonder. i mean, japanese people are ruthless in business, but chinese people are cheap in business. thats why its so hard to choose a side.

huh, that is a very compelling thread... clearly products were a knock off and AJ-Racing was fingered as the source. I find it especially interesting that the thread did not stem from a "which hunt" but rather poor fitment and quality of a specific product.
