soften suspension

I love my 2009 Fit as it is, but my wife and children complain about the harsh ride..
There's lots of info on lowering and stiffening the suspension with aftermarket coilover systems etc, but nothing I can find on making the ride more cushy. Would one of the adjustable coilovers allow for softening the ride ?

A lot of the harshness may be due to the actual size of the vehicle. Maybe a strut or two has blown that may contribute.

a mild lowering spring MAY make the car more comfortable. Coilovers do have adjustable shocks but the springs are usually more aggressive than factory so it's a tough call. You could start with a bigger profile tire, go from the 185/55/16 I think it is to 205/55/16 and see how u like it
