Hello Everyone,

My name is Adam Kube and I DO NOT own a honda Fit. lol.

I do infact own a few Honda fit engines as I race in the Quebec, US and Ontario f1600 series.

Below Is a picture of the engine all kitted with the HRD van diemen race equipnment.



the engines are in the second year in the series and showing great results over the old fasion ford fiesta engines.

reason for posting with you guys is I have a whole wack of oem brand new 2011 honda fit parts.


stock oil pans $100
stock cats/exhaust manifold $100
untouched oem engine wiring harnesses $100
complete intake manifolds. $60
etc.

hmmmm.....just curious what does that mill churn out (ballpark) if its not "top secret"? Is that an L15 bored out to a 1.6 or are the internals left stock? and what does that manifold cost not the oem ones....

 

Ahh No top secret stuff here. They are oem stock fit engines detuned for the spec of the series. Honda just offered the engine and it was accepted that the 1.5 would do battle with the ford 1.6. Lol its been an interesting few months of development.

As for the intake manifold. They are around $800. Let me know if you one!

 

How much cfm does it flow compared to stock......crazy question. I wont be able to take advantage of it anyhow unless I port the heads, intake, throttle body....and drop a cam in it to make it happen.
