I'd love to do a meet with some of the local guys, but again, its deader than a ghost town in here.

I've got both upcoming weekends booked with meets for the other cars that I'm dug into (supras).

Maybe someone else can chime in soon and we can setup a meet n greet

yeah, there are a few up on the Frappr in the area. I know there are a bunch of Fit owners in my area because I see about 5 others regularly within 5 miles of my house, and I know there are more that I don't see as often. There's one with a bike rack that is parked at some trails by my house a lot, maybe I'll try and talk to them and see if they know about fitfreak

So there's 2 of you in Tacoma? I go to Lakewood for band practice every weekend so it should be easy to set something up.

Waiting for my Fit

So, how long have you all owned your Fits?
I should be getting mine in ~4 weeks.....
Curious..? Did your dealers charge over MSRP?
Seems like the dealers have the edge now and are charging 1-2k over MSRP.
I'm down south, but I called dealers in Olympia and Tacoma and both were asking for 19-20k....

I got my Fit in Philadelphia because I couldn't find one in the area at a good price. I did find two dealers in WA that were only charging MSRP, one in Aberdeen and one in Spokane but that was it. Everybody else was 1-3k over.

Some friends of mine got a MINI recently and it was the same thing, the dealer here (and all along the west coast) was charging 500 over MSRP so they got theirs in Florida for 1000 under.

I'm just north of Seattle. Paid a couple hundred over MSRP. Dealer wanted 3k over msrp for a MT sport in stock but took my offer to just have a car sold as it came off the truck as the person who ordered it originally flaked out. Figured I'd have to wait months to get one or ship it across country...but lucked out I suppose (if only paying a little over MSRP is lucky?).

wow... there are people out here!

I regularly make a run from tacoma to everett and see a multitude of fits, never the same one (at least same driver) though.

On the 29th I have a supra bbq that I'm attending (I have cars and I love em ) so anything soon is probably out of the question. Anyone got any plans for mid May?

I'm thinking the 12th or 13th. Maybe I'll make a post here in this section for a meet feeler.
