the j's pipe is 800 US.

i will be cheaper and just as effective to get the megan b-pipe and cut out the resinator and weld in a straight pipe in its place to have a full straight exhaust.

that is my plan anyway.

megan, spoon, t1r, aspec all have the same b-pipe design and none have a better flow rate than the other.

judging by the size of the aftermarket community and availability, i would say that popular isn't the right word.

boring it may be, but that boring allows me to have a car that i can go out, stick in the key, start it and drive it any time i want. No matter what I'm doing, what car I'm working on, etc. That is the beauty of staying stock. Yes, things can happen to put a car out of commission for a time period. Look at me, my fit has been in the repair shop more than its fair share.

no, i'm not trying to preach to anyone to not mod their car. Far from it. You guys know I already have a car that I am modding, I can't afford 3 project cars and I really can't afford to have all my vehicles down at the same time.

The motto for modding cars is simple, "If you are going to mod your daily driver, keep a spare car running for those times when you need a car."

your argument is failed worse than kylers.

No amount of public transportation can take the place of having your own personal vehicle to use at any time you choose. If public transportation was like your own personal vehicle, you wouldn't have as many traffic jams as people wouldn't have cars.

The fail is strong with this subject.

there are more unmodded fits running around than modded fits was the point i was getting at by saying popular.

having one dd is the smartest thing of them all. but my dd is faster than your dd.

running bone stock i was still faster out of some of those corners than you were.

and I think i've got more weight going against me, trans, tools, etc. than you did that day.

Always remember, the faster the machine, the faster it reaches a broken state.

i was taking it easy, what with the tools and crap in the back.

suspension (including brakes and rims/tires) would be the first and foremost thing I'd change on the fit. The rotors aren't what they should be, same with pads. The suspension is just far too soft (gorram x-runner's are stiffer). Plus, it needs some serious weight reduction/re-dispersal.

if no one rides with you then take out your back seats. that alone eliminates almost 100lbs. i do and i notices 1 or 2 mpg better when commuting.

my stock struts are acting sad. i need some nice set of showa struts or maybe the t1r.

but tires are next on my list cause this set will burn off when i add more power.

to me, removing weight from the rear on most cars is a really stupid idea. our cars already have a shitty weight ratio, lets remove rear weight and make the ratio even worse.

but the whole point is a bad ratio on a 2400lbs car is worse than a bad ratio on a 2300lbs car.

i'd rather have a 2600lb car with a closer to 60/40 ratio than a 2300lb car with something like 80/20

i'll be there with stickers. Those that want them, again, arrive early as I will be leaving early.

Price is still $2 a sticker.
