I'll be there at 1 if not sooner. Same local as normal meet ups, the last covered parking at ikea.

 

I've never been to ikea....is that parking garage pretty easy to find?

mastershake, when you find ikea, the only parking are either outside the big blue buildings, or in the parking garages. We will be in the 2nd garage, farthest from the store itself, on the SW 41st st side. If you go all the way to the last entrance for the building on that side, enter and look to the left, you will see us.

fitftw, I think kyler is gonna be there and same with eko, they just havn't been able to post up.

I'm working on a map for the trip today.

snapped up a couple foto's today. the meet at the gardens was a complete... success I guess, if you include parking tickets, massive traffic jams, no parking, burnouts, and horrbily sounding ricermobiles as part of your success.

Plenty of sweet cars to be seen, both honda and non-honda alike.

too bad i couldnt make it to rep the modded fits this time.

i was busy playing in portland....... the end of this month meet would be sweet though.

 

i like an idea of meeting up at ikea as usual then doing another run out to alki... i'd love to get some more shots of the fits with the water and seattle skyrine...er skyline.

give me a date and i'll grab the tri-pod and detail kit next time.

 

I say May 2nd or 3rd would be good I want my strut bar to come in first haha. Hopefully it will be nice by then on one of those days or whatever works best for everyone.

 

hmmm, maybe i can convince the folks to do another bbq here...

 

you guys didnt even show up at the HT meet at all? only a few? man, i am kinda disappointed, jpax and the silver/red wheels FIT were the only i saw so far thru the entire HT pic thread, man, i thought y'all would all roll there for a bit at least and snap a few pics to show y'all rep'd the FIT group...(sigh)

 

dude, we DID show. There was NO, absolutely NO parking anywhere close to the actual HT meet area. I know my fit had it's pic snapped several times as I tried to get to the parking area, then as I turned around and left that area. It was a nasty, nasty mess. Beyond nasty. I know i'm also in at least 2 handheld cam movies as well. Craziness beyond the HT norm.

We left when the cops started handing out tickets to those near the main parking area and went to redmill burger.

btw, if you notice in the pics I took, i have a shot of the silver w/ red rims fit... so that's proof alone that we were there.

 

Are there any pics of JPax's car floating around, I passed him as he was heading down but I wasn't able to stay since it was too crazy for me.

 

should've been there lot earlier. these kinda meet, rather early than actual meet time.
silver fit with red rims i saw, jpax's, i saw. but i was kinda expecting a group of FIT with the HT mess as the background...oh well, it seemed fun but bad location to have HT meet, hopefully i got extra money to buy my wheels and exhaust, then i am ready to roll out!

 

yeah well, a meet up south of the area when there is nasty roadwork on i5 also led to other issues.

We would of had to of been there by 11ish had we wanted "good" parking. The downside to this would of been, 1, me probably crashing due to lack of sleep; 2, not being able to leave until much, much later in the afternoon; 3, being surrounded by more ricers than i care to shake anyone's schtick at.
