kyler you should go k20 or k24. Check out the link 06 RSX K20z1 with only 15,000 miles on it.

front what i read before, k20 might be too heavy along with the turbo, IMO, i rather stay with 1.5L, and turbo it, k20 it's too heavy and the FIT doesnt have the event weight when comes to cornering, if you are talkin' about just drag race, then, hell, k24, why not, but if kyler wants to do road course, then that's diff...again, IMO.

That is actually far from the truth. J-pax fit is rocking a k20 supercharged setup and it came in a very very close second to the AJR fit at Super lap. I have driven the car and it handles EXTREMELY well! Mind you also the AJR fit was on R compound tires and J-Pax's fit was on Auto-x tires that were bald after only a couple hot laps.

A k20'ed is very potent on the road course if it is set up properly and it has far more potential for motor.

Yeah the weight distribution would suck but it be nice to see a k20 under the hood.

the k20 weight is a myth or else j's racing would have just found a way to tune the l15 instead of dropping in a k series.

personally i plan on staying with the l15 so i can see how well it will compare vs j-pax sc k20.

my mod list consists of in this order turbo, tires, showa suspension, brakes, cf hood/hatch and possibly jdm exterior parts.

aha!!!! i knew someone would post up that j-pax's race back in 06, i already had that in mind when i post the previous, again i was just epxressing my opinions, i knew others would root for j-pax coz he(maybe) the first one of all to slap a k20 into it, but not the real k20a, it's a type S motor, i saw it in person, i knew he did well, i just perfer something else, that's all!

I'm not rootin for him. I'm not really rooting for anyone? I am just stating that what you were saying wasn't entirely factual. A K20 swapped Fit can perform on a road course and it can do so incredibly well too. That is all I was saying and that is based on fact because well you saw it in person so....you know it can be done.

look at the j's gt spec fit when it comes to k20 swapped fit.

if you dont know it dominates all other fits.

i want to try tune the l15 as much as i can. im hoping to hit 200hp mark eventually.

turbo

I agree that you should tune the L15 Kyler. New turbo, new location, more pics (we should try to get a rolling shot)!

Kyler inspired me to wait for a shiny weapon r intake manifold now after seeing their thread about the intake they are working on. I think it would be nice to get some rolling shots of some clean cars haha. When is everyone looking at having another meet?

I think we should just wait for April then so we can have more people come out or at least try to.

why not use the honda-tech meet on april 4th, so the whole bunch of you can rep the FIT group too, i hardly see any FIT in any HT meet besides my own, maybe one or two from the last couple of time but not 4-6 FITs showing at the same time, i know it'd be boring, but FIT is part of the Honda, might as well use that date for a meet, instead of meeting somewhere else where you can rep ourselves!

I'm alright with the 4th as our meet. March is probably going to be fairly busy for me as it is.

hopefully i can keep the a-holes from causing more damage to my car by then....
