snow
drove home today from school (so lame that we had school today ><) and almost got hit by a speeding van..i'm so glad i drove really slow or else i would have gotten owned ><
So far so good in the fit dealing with snow. The only issues it has is since it is lowered I have to be careful of any deep snow drifts or snow piles. I have almost gotten stuck once when I tried to gun it through some deep snow. There was a giant splash from my front bumper and lip hitting the snow pile then I got stuck for half a second and started to chug along again.
I will see if I can get some pics of the snow.

I took this picture Sunday night. That pile of snow is from shoveling and snow blowing the driveway. It is about 6' tall in that pic and with the new snow from this morning it is probably 7' tall now and will be getting taller. We have a 3' deep piles along the rest of the drive way past that giant pile.
i didnt even lowered my FIT yet and my under panel is already got caught in the snow pile from driving over the thicker snow paths....now i am only using a 2 cut off hangers bended it to hold it thru the lower gril of the bumper...ghetto dude!! i need clips now, or even a new under panel!! i had enuf of this snow now, seattle is not a snow city..so this gotta go!!
Hey any tips on trying to get unstuck from snow? in an automatic I used to "rock" it, reverse and shift to D and then repeat.....works brilliantly. However, in my manual, it's so hard to do, since when the wheel got stuck in the snow, I don't get the same feedback when the engine is about to cut, so I stall like 50 times in one day.....
I guess i can leave the clutch half de-pressed, but that will wear the clutch out in no time....
