the trick for the manual is buy an lsd. my fit does fine but it seems too light weight for any good snow traction. plus the low factor doesnt help so i get caught alot.

You can still rock the manual you just have to be quick with the gears. I do it just fine.

LSD = Limited Slip Differential

it makes both wheels spin equally instead of one just loosing traction.

We had a tornado last January. It is pretty weird because I live right on Lake Michigan so I have never seen a tornado actually come into the city because the high and low pressure changes when approaching the lake so that usually keeps them away. So it was really weird that we had the first tornado that actually hit the city in like 20+ years and it was in January.

i know you have your heart set on owning a spoon fit but the spoon clutch type lsd is not ideal for daily driving.

So even with this ungodly amount of snow I have got the Honda Roadster itch again. I'm thinking I may be making a trip over the mountains to look at one once some of this snow melts. I've found about 5 so far that are under 12k with decent miles.........We'll see

ooh that AP1 itch is hard to resist...it took me so long to convince myself that i have a baby and i cant afford roadster...

the spoon lsd i wanted is more of in the future when i put the FIT as a track car...so i dont drive it everyday, but the helical one you mentioned, i looked it up, it's very reasonable.

Nah, I'm gonna keep the Fit. When my wife and I sell our house I'm gonna look into one. We should be selling it to her uncle in late Spring.
