If you go the route of pulling fans instead of the intake manifold, be careful with the passenger side fan. banged up my radiator.

Was a v6 with 6 or 8 snapped exhaust manifold bolts between both cylinder heads. Drilling them all out took at least two days, but every single one came out and no threads were damaged by my work.
