Smile Fit 2009 Oil change

Hi,

Just have my Fit 2009 for 6 months and now hitting 7k miles. Time to change oil, any idea what is good juice for my dear? Regular, synthetic, 5w,10w or 15w? Any suggestion is appreaciated!

I just did whatever the manual said.....3.8 US qt. of API certified 5w20 and a new filter (I went with Valvoline oil, and a Bosch filter)..

Opinions vary greatly on this topic; you may find what your looking for faster by reading through one of the many existing threads regarding oil recommendations:

You're going to get 100 different answers for every 100 replies as to what oil to use. U.S. Fits are supposed to use 5w-20 weight. There are lots of good oil brands, but if you can't decide, I guess you could always use Honda oil.

What did your oil life meter read at 4260? I have 3600 on mine, and the meter JUST dropped to 70% oil life remaining. At this rate, I will be looking at 15% somewhere around 9000 miles. Do I need to drive faster??

Mine was at 70% but I've been really really hard on it.
