I pick up my car tomorrow with the tint already done. Getting Llumar ATR High Performance metallic hybrid tint, 35% front (legal limit here in ON) and 15% back. I was told that they can't do the little front windows (by side mirrors) since they are slightly before these and so considered part of windshield (illegal to tint in ON). Is this what everyone else here was told, that you can't tint the little front windows?
i did 15% tint on all the windows inlcuding the small windows (except for the windshield) and it was done by the dealer. I did that in Markham Honda.
On my Matrix, I did 30% for the front, 15% for the rear passenger and 5% for the back. 30% was too light for me.
I also just got my Black Fit's windows tinted today!!! I've got a black 09 with 17% in the rear and 35% up front. Looks even better in person than it does in pics! Looks pretty much like Concorde's, but sans bike rack and pinstripe!

Any problems with the tint adhering over the dot matrix area above the rear view mirror? I had a problem with the tint looking sloppy in that area on my old Accord. Does it really make a difference protecting your eyes from the sun?
Ha awesome! ..this is the second comment that I've gotten on my pinstriping...... I'm starting to get paranoid.
Hey Concorde! No worries on the pin-striping! I was just citing the differences of our cars. I wasn't trying to bag on your stripes! I'm sorry if I came off that way.
Nice bike rack! I bought the Fit so I could use it as a rolling mt. bike launch platform. It'll fit a bike inside nicely. The only problem with putting them inside is the amount of dirt that get's everywhere! I've got some more elements-proofing to do to the interior. That, and bikes like to scratch up interior plastic like it's going out of style

Ha, I know you weren't ..no offense taken!
Yes, the bike rack has come in very handy on road trips or when I just don't want to put the bike(s) inside, or as you stated, scratch up the interior plastic. However, sometimes it's inevitable such as when I'm staying somewhere overnight and don't want undesirables eyeing the bikes up there. My '08 Fit previously had its fair share of scratches due to this

Just seeing this... No problems with adhesion, but I think that has a lot to do with the installer and the particular matrix. I know what you're talking about, my old Integra had the adhesion problem in the rear window.
And yes, it helps with the sun. I was able to drive comfortably the other day with bright sun shining but masked by the 20% stripe. My wife sits a little lower and didn't have that advantage and was virtually blinded...
Overall I think it takes a little getting used to, but it's a very nice option, especially nice to fill in those spots where the visors don't quite reach.
