my tint guy told me $200, but i've known him for years and have done a lot of work with him and he told me he would throw in the whole windshield for that price.

I'm going to try and find someone to do mine for around $200 in the spring. The dealer quoted me $399 for all windows (without windshield strip) and I just laughed in his face.

Just to let those who care know, I use a guy here in Miami, FL who charges me $125 for Llumar tint with a lifetime warranty.

I have done 8 cars with him throughout the years and once, after about 2 yrs, I noticed VERY tiny bubbles on the rear window (probably caused by the defroster strips). I called him up, and he removed the tint from ALL the windows and re-tinted them all for free (I think Llumar paid him, but not a cent from me).

Oh, and I just bought my 09 Fit Nov. 17th and I already had him tint her.

I will get pics for you guys.

Is this what everyone else here was told, that you can't tint the little front windows?
My Uncle who is a master mechanic for Toyota made a random comment re those little windows when he was looking over my car. He said Honda did those little windows instead of having a wrap-around windshield, which would have otherwise been required.

So, it makes sense to me (assuming you feel he is credible) that these could be considered part of the windshield.

yeah my last car had 5% on sides and a clear windshield, with my 09 fit, i want the front 45% for sure but still not sure on either 20% or 38% for the sides. I dont want it TOO dark (like my last car) but still want it to look good.

15 is as low as u can go IF you want to see at night (so i was told) and 35% is as low as you can go in the front unless you or your buddy does it

yeah i had to roll down my windows to change lanes at night with my 5%. LOL I've had 2 cars with the windshield done 40% so going to 45% should be a little easier to see.

Ok...just picked my car up from the tint shop, i'll post photos as soon as it quits raining here. He did 18% on sides and back and 48% on the whole windshield. Only drove it at night so far (just picked it up) and it's GREAT!!
