Something I think is obvious but often overlooked, though, is where the gains can be expected. If you look at the hp graph, the lines have very little separation up to 5000 RPM, 2-3hp at most. It's not until 5500 that there starts to be more separation. So the power gains are mainly only in a 1500 RPM band (5500 - 7000). With the Fit's short gearing, especially first and second gears, you zip through that 1500 RPM band pretty quickly. At higher speeds/gears, you spend more time pulling through that 5500-7000 range where the gains are.
7 hp is nothing to sneeze at, but how much of that gain one experiences has a ton to do with the conditions you drive in. Pure city drivers would likely see very little improvement while those having to pass on the highway or doing track days will reap much more of the benefit.
