Mustang problem! No air through vents other than floor and windshield

I seem to be having a problem with my heat and AC. It blows hot and cold, but it's only coming through the floor or windshield vents and not the ones pointing into the car. This is gonna be a problem when it gets really cold (especially with no rear defroster). Any ideas what this could be? Or am I just gonna have to yank the dash apart to see if there could be blockage some where? This is in my 1993 Mustang hatchback.

HELP!

Someone on another forums said the same thing. Is this difficult to repair myself? The shop I called said if it's under the hood, then $30 to repair but if they need to remove the dash, then it's gonna be $100+ due to labor.

Could it just be the cable that connects the dash knob to the flapper in the duct? Sorry but I read this thread header right after reading the Define Quality header and started laughing.....
