Jazz Keyless Remote Programming

Help, we have a 2003 UK spec Jazz and have just bought a second remote for the keyless locking system off Ebay. There are loads of sites all with the same instructions on how to program Honda remotes for your car but they do not seem to work with the Jazz, unless I am doing something wrong or the remote is faulty.
Can anyone help?

Hiya, i did the same as only got one when i bought it. Programmed mine yesterday using the instructions found here Honda Remote Programing. Just keep switching it to 2, pressing lock and switching to 1 over and over until you get it working, remember to press the button for at least a second and don't flick the key on and off too fast. Oh yeah, don't forget that when you programme your new remote the old one won't work so you have to do that one at the same time but it tells you how in the link. Hope that helps!!

I found the instructions work for my European Jazz (2008 earlier model) for the key listed below.

Honda Jazz Key 2008 European Model
Part Number 35111SAH-305
Number written on key = 0891

However at the start to disable the memory feature the method is different. Instead of simultaneously holding down the lock and unlock buttons I had to hold down just the unlock button for a few seconds until the LED on the remote blinked twice. The rest of the procedure was the same.
